Privacy & Consent Notice
Last updated: September 15, 2026 · Version 2026-09-15-v3
At Network FP, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable laws. This notice explains what we collect through the Financial Wellbeing website, why, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.
What this notice covers
This notice covers the Financial Wellbeing health check, your results, and booking a consultation with a Personal Finance Professional — the full journey from the moment you start the health check, not just the point at which you might book.
What we collect, and when
When you complete the health check (before you've given us your name or email): your answers to all 21 questions — including income band, savings rate, insurance and debt details, and an optional free-text note — your city, and the wellbeing score and needs we calculate from your answers. This is saved as soon as you finish the health check, whether or not you go on to book anything.
If you book a consultation: your name and email (from signing in with Google — we only ever receive your name and email, nothing else from your Google account), attached to the health check record above, plus your chosen appointment time.
Why we use it
- To calculate your financial wellbeing score and results.
- To identify and recommend suitable financial professionals for you.
- To share the relevant, limited information described below with the specific financial professional you choose to book with, so they can prepare for your consultation.
- To schedule and manage your consultation, and send related communications (confirmations, your results, reminders).
- To improve our services.
| Purpose | Data used |
|---|---|
| Calculating your wellbeing score and needs | Your 21 health-check answers |
| Recommending financial professionals | Your computed score and need tags |
| Sharing with the financial professional you book with | Name, email, wellbeing level, primary need areas |
| Scheduling your consultation | Name, email, chosen time slot |
| Service communications | Name, email |
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We do share it, in limited form, with:
| Who | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The specific financial professional you book with | Name, email, wellbeing level, primary need areas — never your raw answers | To prepare for and conduct your consultation |
| Supabase (our database provider) | Everything described above | Hosts our database and keeps it secure — physically stored on servers in Tokyo, Japan |
| Google (Sign-In, Calendar, Meet) | Your name and email at sign-in; scheduling details if you book | To let you sign in and to schedule/host your consultation |
| Our email provider | Name, email, appointment and results details | To send you booking confirmations and your results |
| OpenStreetMap (if you allow location access) | Coarse location coordinates, not linked to your name at that point | To detect your city automatically — you can always type it in manually instead |
Being shown as a possible match for a financial professional does not share anything with them — they only receive your information if you actually choose to book with them.
How we keep it secure
Your data travels to us and sits in our database over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) at every step. Access to your personal data (your health-check answers, contact details, and appointment information) is restricted by database-level access controls: the public website can only add new health-check and booking records; it cannot read back yours or anyone else's personal information. Only authorized Network FP personnel can access the database directly.
How long we keep it
We currently retain your data for as long as we're operating this service, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. There's no automatic deletion on a fixed schedule yet; if you'd like your data deleted sooner, contact us or use the Data Rights Request form and we'll act on it.
If you're under 18
This service is intended for adults. We ask you to confirm you are 18 or older before completing the health check. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us data, please contact us using the details below and we will delete it.
Your Rights
Every consent we ask for is free, specific, informed, and revocable, per Section 6 of the DPDP Act, 2023. Under the Act, you can also ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data, subject to anything we're legally required to retain.
- Withdraw your consent at any time — this won't affect anything we did before you withdrew it, and going forward we'll stop using your data for the purposes you withdrew consent for.
None of these are automated yet — contact us using the details below, or use our Data Rights Request form, and we will act on your request within 30 business days.

Important: completing the health check requires agreeing to the assessment-stage consent shown on its last screen. Booking a consultation requires a second, separate consent — shown once you choose a financial professional and time — specific to sharing your information with them. If you do not agree to either, please do not check that box or submit your information.
